January 18th, 2013 - Chemotherapy Treatment # 72

Today went well. Peyton and I both got our flu shots after treatment was over. Charlie and Landon had both already had theirs. We found out yet another one of Peyton's doctors will be leaving in February. Darn! It's sad to lose such wonderful doctors. However, some other kids, in another hospital, in another state, are going to be very lucky. It's bittersweet really. We also talked about what the end date might be for Peyton's chemo. We are looking at sometime in May.....I'm beyond excited! He'll need 6 weeks off from chemo before going into surgery. Landon stayed with our friends during Peyton's treatment. He enjoyed playtime at the park and the library. They spoil him good! Later in the evening we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with Jodi and Matt at Olive Garden. It's always great to spend time with family! Denver has really started feeling like home. (Well, a second home at least!)
